District Charges - 2012 Rates
Rates/Charges
Water use charges are established by the District's Board of Directors. Charges are currently based upon 1,000 gallon units of consumption as shown on the meter during a monthly reading period. The current District rate for consumption is $3.98 per one thousand gallons used.
Sewer
Sewer user charges are established by the District's Board of Directors. Charges are currently a flat rate charge based on the following area in which a homeowner resides:

Property Owner Charges
The sale of a property requires a final reading usually requested by the
title company. The final reading form 
must be completed
and returned to Lakehurst Water & Sanitation District. There is a $20.00
charge associated
with the reading and generation of the final bill.
If property owners wish to transfer billing to their tenants, a
transfer form must be filled out and
signed by the owner or management company of
the property and returned to Lakehurst Water & Sanitation District. There
is a $20.00 charge associated with the transfer process.
